Set in a beautiful forest location, the stunning Roundhouse is hand-built by the owners as a one-off custom lover’s retreat looking over its own crystal-clear woodland stream and adjoining huge wildflower meadows that beg to be sat barefoot in. Indulge yourselves with peace and quiet, undisturbed together in this sheltered and beautiful wooded valley set deep in the folds of spectacular Bodmin Moor. Built on the footings of huge granite stones, gathered in ancient times as shelter, this handmade luxury building of green oak and hand-beaten copper is crafted to feel as if it has grown up from the very woodland itself as a sanctuary for lovers.

The whole site is managed for its nature conservation interest as the home of Nic - a conservation officer at the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, and Lucy - a professional horticulturalist and artist.

Our Philosophy
The owners fell deeply in Love, but when they could steal time together, never seemed to find the space befitting their romance to book anywhere in the UK. Love-in-the-Round was created out of their desire to find time together.
